- OK, can someone be *very* specific about which video modes can and cannot
- be displayed on a typical SVGA monitor from an A1200?
-
- Here's the scenario: my fiancee is interested in an A1200 and already has
- a brand-new Packard Bell SVGA monitor which she bought for her old, OLD
- PC. Which modes will be visible on this monitor? Or is multisync really
- the only way to go?
-
- She won't be doing any video work any time soon, just word processing and
- tooling around in a paint program. Oh yeah, and surfing the Net.
-
- Now this next question has nothing to do with monitors. Is there *any*
- way to use virtual memory on an A1200, aside from plugging in a full
- 68030 board in the trapdoor? She has a Zip drive and would like to use
- some of its space for VM.
-
- And finally, can she buy an A1200 with no HD and just boot off of the Zip
- (assuming she gets a SCSI controller)? That would be perfect.
